Uber and Bolt

Trips come in through the app. You log on when you want to drive, and get requests continuously based on where you are. The price is set before the trip starts, and the passenger pays in the app.

What sets them apart is the customer base: Bolt has its own customers and its own campaign periods. Many drivers stay logged on to both and take whichever trip suits them best.

  • Trips come in as requests in the app
  • Requires a taxi driver licence and an approved account on the platform
  • You can be logged on to both at once

Taximeter

With the taximeter, you drive a classic taxi: taxi ranks, hailing on the street, and trips from the dispatch centre. The price is calculated as you go, using fixed rates.

The taximeter works best for fixed assignments and during periods with a lot of traffic at the ranks. You get training in the taximeter and the payment system before your first shift.

  • Trips from taxi ranks, hailing, and the dispatch centre
  • Requires a taxi driver licence and training in the taximeter
  • Fixed rates, payout through us

FastTravel

FastTravel is our airport agreement. Trips are booked in advance, with pickup time and place ready before the shift starts, so you don't need to search for assignments.

The trips go straight into your shift. We follow the flight departures, so you know when the passenger lands. Income is steadier here than on the apps, especially early in the morning.

  • Pre-booked trips to and from the airport
  • Requires a taxi driver licence and training in the routines
  • Set into the shift, payout through us

Can I combine them?

Yes. Many of our drivers stay logged on to both Uber and Bolt at once, and take taximeter trips from a taxi rank when the apps are quiet. FastTravel trips are set into the shift where they fit. You don't have to choose for good.

You can start with one platform and add more once you're comfortable in the car. Tell your shift manager, and we'll sort out the access and equipment you need. You keep your shift and your car.
