Akkord Drive has two bases in Oslo. Bryn has the office, the lounge and charging. Årvoll has charging, a self-service wash and a tyre shop. You pick up the key from the Sharebox and drive. We handle the rest.
With your papers in order you can drive the same day. We call you within 12 to 24 hours.

What you get as a driver here
We run the company around the people who drive. Everything below is ready at the bases today, and you can come and see it before you apply.
Flexible shifts
Day shift 05.00 to 17.00 or night shift 17.00 to 05.00. We plan the shifts together with you.
All-electric fleet and our own fast chargers
The whole fleet is electric. You charge at our own 150 kW chargers, outdoors at Bryn or under cover at Årvoll, so you never queue at public chargers mid-shift.
Self-service wash and tyre shop at Årvoll
The Årvoll site is indoors and open around the clock. If your shift ends at five in the morning, you wash the car yourself and hand it back right away.
Open terms and fixed settlement
You know what you keep before the shift starts. Payment arrives at the same time every period.
Lounge, rest area and prayer room
A place to sit, eat your own food and rest while the car charges. The prayer room is right next door.
Help with the paperwork
We guide you through the application for a taxi driver licence (kjøreseddel).
Keys in the Sharebox
You pick up and return the key in the Sharebox, without meeting anyone. You can start and end the shift at any hour, also when the office is closed.
People to talk to around the clock
The operations desk is staffed 24/7, and if something goes wrong you talk to a person, not a form.

A short talk about shifts, platform and when you can start.

Papers and car get ready
We meet at the base and go through your kjøreseddel (the police-issued taxi driver permit), driving licence and politiattest (police certificate of conduct). Then we set up a car for you.

First shift
If everything is in place, your first shift can be the same day. You get training on the taksameter (the taximeter used for regulated fares) and a mentor for the first shifts.

How you can drive with us
You choose how you want to drive. In an app, on the taksameter (the taximeter used for regulated fares), or on fixed airport trips.

Trips come in through the app. You log on when you want to drive, and many drivers run both side by side.

Classic taxi work from ranks, street hails and the dispatch centre, on regulated fares.
FastTravel
Fixed airport trips through our agreement. Pre-booked jobs that go straight into your shift.
